Wrapped in a nightmare,
Caught in a snare,
My heart is aching,
And is ceasing to care.
I'm met by a glare,
That makes me wish I wasn't there.
Trapped in a  dreamworld
Without a prayer.
I am the hunter, hunting the bear,
Fierce an gruesome it does not spare.

Bounded by my own device,
I now find my single vice,
I am greedy and I will take,
I am chaos, I make things break.
Here I am,enticed by greed
This monster licks his lips,
Ready to feed.

Though I shake,
And fear makes me ache,
A sudden epiphany,
Stuns me awake.

What is a monster, him or me...
For aren't we both to some degree??
I will not plead,
For he will not heed,
Though my gun is in reach,
I do not breach...
Why you may ask,it is simple you see
For the bear is a she,
Trying to feed her family.
It is my own fault,
For getting into this mess,
But now my greed will be laid to rest...

Wrapped in a nightmare,
That does not scare,
My heart is at peace,
For that I swear,
I'm met only by a humble stare,
One that is found to be so rare...
As I accept my decided fate,
The bear is fair and leaves me there.

The nightmare suddenly becomes reality
